HENDERSONVILLE, Tenn. (October 11, 2012) – Nine employees and one physician were honored recently as Service Excellence Award winners at TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center.
“The Service Excellence Awards were created last year as an acknowledgement of employees who exhibit and reflect our hospital’s Service Excellence values,” said Regina Bartlett, Chief Executive Officer. “We expect a certain level of customer service from all our employees, volunteers and physicians but this helps us recognize those who take that service to a higher level.”
Fellow employees nominate those that are noticed raising the Service Excellence standards and those nominations go to an employee-led committee who then chooses the individual honorees.
Those employees recognized included Christy Barnes, LPN, Emergency Department; Lugene Cooper, Food and Nutritional Services; Cindy Corley, RN, Women’s Services; Nick Hurst, Plant Ops; Larry Kepley, RN, Emergency Department; Matthew Lucas, Med/Surg; Robert Mahorney, Surgical Services; Tanya Meyer, RN, Med/Surg; Kim Sutton, Medical Imaging.
Physician winner was Dr. Brandon Riggan, OBGYN.
