Heart attack treatment center

As an American College of Cardiology Accredited Chest Pain Center, we are committed to delivering high-quality care if you experience a heart attack.

When the blood vessels leading to the heart are blocked, less blood and oxygen can reach the heart muscle. When the heart muscle is deprived of oxygen, chest pain and/or a heart attack may result. Heart attack symptoms vary, especially between men and women, but can include:

  • Appearing pale
  • Cold sweat
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Dizziness
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Palpitations
  • Weakness or fatigue
Advanced stroke care

We are a certified as a Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission, which means we deliver exceptional outcomes with our stroke care.

Stroke is a type of disease affecting the arteries leading to and within the brain. A stroke occurs when a clot or burst blocks a blood vessel carrying oxygen and nutrients to the brain. When that happens, part of the brain cannot receive the blood and oxygen it needs and, as a result, begins to die.

The faster the stroke symptoms are recognized and care is received, the more likely you will have a full recovery. Call 911 immediately if you or someone you love experiences any of these symptoms of stroke:

  • Dizziness, loss of balance or coordination
  • Numbness or weakness of the face, arm or leg, especially on one side of the body
  • Severe headache with no known cause
  • Sudden confusion, trouble speaking or understanding
  • Trouble seeing in one or both eyes

As a parent, you want to keep your child safe at all times — but we know their sense of adventure can sometimes outweigh their sense of danger. Knowing what to do and where to go in the event of an emergency not only gives you peace of mind, it ensures your child receives the best possible care.

Our emergency room treats everything from stomachaches and coughs to seizures and severe infections in children.

With 24/7 access to a team of board-certified emergency medicine doctors ready to meet the unique needs of a pediatric emergency, we care for children with minimal wait time. Common issues we treat include:

  • Dehydration
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Fractures
  • Head injuries
  • High or persistent fever
  • Seizures
  • Severe allergic reactions

Additionally, 25 miles north, we offer an eight-bed ER at TriStar Portland ER, which also includes pediatric emergency care for families in need.
